Male Velociraptor Maquette - Jurassic World Lost World

Because The Lost World: Jurassic Park featured both sexes of dinosaurs, a new, more colorful scheme had to be created for the wild counterparts of the female Raptors seen in the previous film. Drawing inspiration from nature, it was decided that the wild pack's color scheme would be noticeably more vibrant than the previous monotone grey-brown of the females. Several different color palettes were applied to the line art, including yellow and black patterns and green and red patterns, which were inspired by the novels. The final color scheme chosen was an orange and black pattern reminiscent of a tiger. Additionally, a thinner and more slack skin texture was used to enhance realism.
Continuing to expand their collection for fans and collectors, Elite Creature Collectibles is proud to present the 1/4 Scale male Raptor Maquette from Jurassic Park: The Lost World, in collaboration with ILM Artist Bitan, who faithfully recreated the model at a larger 1/4 scale. The maquette is painted by ECC key artist Oskar Ankarudd.
